Information we collect

Account details you provide (name, email, password), business and tax information you enter, transactions you import by CSV, and — only if you choose to connect a bank — account and transaction data received through our bank-connection provider, Plaid Inc.

How we use it

Solely to provide the service: keeping your registers and ledgers, categorizing transactions, producing reports and tax worksheets. We do not sell, rent, or share your data for advertising.

Plaid

When you connect a bank, Plaid collects data from your institution on our behalf, as described in the Plaid End User Privacy Policy. You can disconnect a bank at any time in Setup.

Sharing

Data is shared only with service providers needed to run the app (hosting, database, bank connection, AI categorization), with people you invite (such as your CPA), or when required by law.

Security

All traffic uses encrypted HTTPS (TLS 1.2+), data is encrypted at rest, access is restricted per user and role, and optional two-step sign-in is available.

Retention and your choices

Data is kept while your account is active so you can maintain your own tax and accounting records. You can correct or delete your data at any time, and you can permanently delete your account yourself under Setup → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and automatic: your login, financial records, and team access are erased and any linked banks are disconnected.
